Nine Collateral Events Announced for 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale
The 18th International Architecture Exhibition, known as 'The Laboratory of the Future' and curated by Lesley Lokko, is taking place from May 20 to November 26, 2023, at the Giardini and Arsenale. Nine collateral exhibitions, sanctioned by Biennale president Roberto Cicutto, are being held by non-profit organizations throughout Venice. Among them, Scotland + Venice features 'A Fragile Correspondence' at Docks Cantieri Cucchini, while the Institut Ramon Llull presents 'Following the Fish.' RWTH Aachen University displays 'Climate Wunderkammer' at IUAV Palazzo Badoer, and the Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts showcases 'Diachronic Apparatuses of Taiwan.' Fundació Mies van der Rohe hosts 'EUmies Awards. Young Talent 2023' at Palazzo Mora, along with other exhibitions like 'Radical yet possible future space solutions,' 'Students as Researchers,' 'Transformative Hong Kong,' and 'Tracé Bleu.'
