Nils Rossi's P.A.R.T.Y. Photographs QLGBT Nightlife in Milan
Nils Rossi's photographic project P.A.R.T.Y. (Pride And Revolution To Youth) documents the QLGBT nightlife of q|LAB, a creative music venue at Q21 in Milan's via Padova 21. The exhibition features 22 portraits of performers, dancers, DJs, and artists who performed during the club's 2017/18 season. Curated by Sanni Agostinelli and produced by Alessandro Lombardo, Creative Producer of q|LAB, the show was conceived with artistic director Stefano Libertini Protopapa. It is a traveling exhibition that includes venues Kryptos, LeccoMilano, Memà, Mono, Red Cafè, and 35—key spots in the Rainbow District of Porta Venezia—where the photographs remain on display until the end of July. The project aims to use photography as a vehicle for education, fostering critical awareness and reflection. P.A.R.T.Y. is part of the Milano Pride Week 2018 calendar, running until July 1, and is endorsed by Milano Pride Week and Rainbow District Milano.
