Nicole Kidman is set to co-chair the 2026 Met Gala, joining forces with Beyoncé, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour. The gala's theme will be "Fashion is Art." Kidman has graced the event six times, starting in 2003 when she co-chaired in a stunning crystal-embellished, one-shouldered Gucci gown by Tom Ford. She returned as co-chair in 2005, wearing a strapless navy Chanel dress adorned with black beads. Her more recent looks have embraced dramatic styles, including a pink silk-tulle Chanel gown with ostrich feathers in 2023, reminiscent of a 2003 Chanel No. 5 ad by Baz Luhrmann. The Met Gala takes place on the first Monday in May, coinciding with the Costume Institute's debut exhibition, "Costume Art," in its new permanent galleries.
