Nicolas Ballario's Summer 2025 Art Tour on Sky Arte's The Square

The fourteenth and final episode of the fifth season of The Square – All You Can Art, produced by TIWI, airs on Sky Arte on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Host Nicolas Ballario presents a summer tour of contemporary culture in Italy and Switzerland. The itinerary begins at Forte di Bard in Valle d'Aosta with the exhibition Street Art Revolution. Banksy e compagni: itinerari d'arte, which explores street art's origins and includes site-specific works in surrounding villages. Next is the Abbey of San Galgano in Tuscany, hosting Giubileo di luce, a solo show of monumental steel sculptures by Helidon Xhixha. The program then visits the Museo Comunale d'Arte Moderna in Ascona, Switzerland, for Flowers of My Desire, the first solo exhibition at a Swiss public institution by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. At Lake Orta, the Moca (Museo omegnese del casalingo) is featured. Finally, in Rome, Ballario presents No Man is an Island, a diffused project by Adrian Paci at Conciliazione 5 window gallery and the Corsie Sistine of the Complesso Monumentale di Santo Spirito in Sassia. Promoted by the Vatican's Dicastery for Culture and Education, the project reflects on migration and hospitality.
