Nicolas Ballario hosts new Sky Arte series 'The Square' exploring empty cultural spaces
Sky Arte launches 'The Square. Spazio alla cultura', a new series hosted by Nicolas Ballario and produced by Tiwi, premiering November 26, 2020. The program transforms empty cultural venues into platforms for artists, musicians, filmmakers, and performers. The first episode covers Artissima's digital edition (shifted online from Lingotto, Turin), Visioni Italiane festival by Cineteca di Bologna, a live performance by Davide Toffolo (frontman of Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti), the restoration of Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo (opening delayed due to COVID-19), and Lucca Changes (formerly Lucca Comics & Games, held online for the first time in 27 years). Alice Rohrwacher presents her film 'Omelia contadina'. Episodes stream free on Sky's video portal and social channels.
