Nicola Davide Angerame named artistic director of Paratissima 2023, postponed to autumn

Paratissima, the Turin contemporary art fair now in its 18th edition, has announced Nicola Davide Angerame as its new artistic director for 2023. Originally scheduled for early 2023, the event has been postponed to autumn due to uncertainty from war and pandemic effects on economies. Angerame, founder and artistic director of Galleria Civica di Alassio and Galleria Civica di Andora, president of cultural association Whitelabs, coordinator of TAG – Torino Art Galleries, and a longtime contributor to Artribune, will begin planning content and appointments immediately. The fair recently expanded into new spaces at Complesso della Cavallerizza Reale, adding the ground floor and courtyard of Manica del Mosca to the existing Artiglieria spaces, creating over 10,000 square meters of exhibition area. The new layout hosts cultural projects like Nicola Bolla's solo show Senza Titolo! curated by Angerame and the site-specific group show Ephemera, as well as collaborations with local entities.
