Nico Vascellari's 'Horse Power' acquired by Banca Ifis Sculpture Park in Mestre
Banca Ifis has purchased 'Horse Power', a collection of nine sculptures by Nico Vascellari that explores the connections among humans, animals, and machines, for its Parco Internazionale di Scultura in Mestre, which opened in April 2024. This 22-hectare park showcases works from various artists and will feature 'Horse Power' starting June 21, 2024, available every Sunday through the Ifis Art app. Initially unveiled at the 2019 Biennale de Lyon, the sculptures are made of aluminum and were originally crafted in wax. Additionally, a performance video documenting their creation was included in the acquisition. A monograph titled 'Nico Vascellari Fossils Of Experience' detailing Vascellari's career has also been published. Banca Ifis president Ernesto Fürstenberg Fassio highlighted the role of art in connecting with youth.
