Nick Út's 'From Hell to Hollywood' exhibition in Milan features iconic Napalm Girl photo

The exhibition 'From Hell to Hollywood' at Palazzo Lombardia in Milan showcases 61 photographs by Nick Út, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Vietnamese photojournalist known for his iconic 1972 image of Phan Thi Kim Phúc, the 'Napalm Girl'. The show traces Út's career from the Vietnam War to his later work in the United States, covering daily life, Los Angeles celebrity culture, homelessness, protests, and California wildfires. Út, whose birth name is Huỳnh Công Út, moved to the US in 1975. The exhibition contrasts the orange of napalm with the orange of firefighting agents, though the historical photos are in black and white. Phan Thi Kim Phúc is also present in Italy for the exhibition.
