Nicer Tuesdays Returns to New York with Kelli Anderson, Parallel Press, Noble Signs, Angela Lian

The second Nicer Tuesdays event of 2026 in New York will take place on June 2 at the SVA Theatre in Chelsea. Speakers include Kelli Anderson, a graphic designer and paper engineer known for Risograph animation and pop-up books like Alphabet in Motion; Parallel Press, a graphic design studio and publisher presenting Astro Black, a book documenting 18 Black astronauts, pilots, scientists, and engineers who traveled to space with NASA; Noble Signs, a Brooklyn-based sign painting studio whose co-founder David Barnett will discuss handmade signage and custom typography; and Angela Lian, a graphic designer and performance artist who blends TikTok dance trends, video collage, and design to raise awareness about disability and chronic pain. The event will feature talks and a Q&A session moderated by It's Nice That US editor-at-large Elizabeth Goodspeed. Doors open at 6:30 pm, talks begin at 7 pm.
