Nicer Tuesdays New York: Mona Chalabi, Special Offer, Arsh Raziuddin, Tala Schlossberg to Speak

The next Nicer Tuesdays event in New York will take place on 15 September 2026 at the SVA Theatre in Chelsea, featuring talks from Pulitzer Prize-winning illustrator Mona Chalabi, design studio Special Offer founder Brent David Freany, graphic designer Arsh Raziuddin, and animator Tala Schlossberg. Chalabi will discuss her new book 'Ten Lives: How What We Have Shapes Who We Are' with It's Nice That's US editor at large Elizabeth Goodspeed. The book, published by Penguin, follows the financial journeys of ten Americans over five years to explore wealth, class, and income inequality. Special Offer, known for the album design of Charli XCX's 'brat', will be represented by founder Brent David Freany. Raziuddin will cover her practice, including her collaboration with Mayor Mamdani's City Hall on New York City's World Cup identity. Schlossberg, formerly of The New York Times Opinion video team, will discuss her experimental animation and her independent miniseries 'You Have Probably Never Heard of Hornita Calypso'.
