Nexo Digital, celebrating over two million viewers, has announced the first part of its 2019-2020 programming for La Grande Arte al Cinema. The season opens with three documentaries starting mid-September. The second, 'Ermitage. Il Potere dell'arte' directed by Michele Mally, screens October 21-23, produced by 3D Produzioni and Nexo Digital in collaboration with Ermitage Italia and Villaggio Globale International, supported by Intesa Sanpaolo. It covers the history of the Hermitage Museum and Saint Petersburg from Peter the Great to today. The third, 'Frida. Viva la vida' directed by Giovanni Troilo, screens November 25-27, produced by Ballandi Arts and Nexo Digital, focusing on Frida Kahlo's dual identity as feminist icon and artist, divided into six chapters with exclusive interviews and archival footage.
