New York Art Week 2018: Guide to Fairs and Events

From March 6 to 11, 2018, New York Art Week will take place, highlighting The Armory Show at Piers 92 and 94. Established in 1994 by four gallerists from New York, the fair showcases 198 galleries from around the globe, with one-third being debut exhibitors. Notable mega galleries such as Gagosian and Perrotin make their return after a hiatus. Last year, the event attracted 65,000 attendees. Italian galleries represented include Galleria Continua, Kaufmann Repetto, and Mazzoleni, among others. Concurrently, SCOPE at Metropolitan Pavilion features 75 galleries, while VOLTA NY at Pier 90 presents 85 galleries from 32 countries. Independent at Spring Studios and NADA at Skylight Clarkson Square also contribute to the vibrant art scene.
