New York Art Week 2017: Must-See Exhibitions Across the City
Frieze New York aligns with New York Art Week 2017, showcasing exhibitions throughout the city. Installations curated by Cecilia Alemani can be found at the High Line park, created by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. At MET Breuer, Marisa Merz's retrospective, 'The Sky Is a Great Space,' is available until May 7, while Lygia Pape's 'A Multitude of Forms' continues until July 23. An exhibition featuring Rei Kawakubo opens on May 4 at the Met. CIMA displays works by Giorgio de Chirico and Giulio Paolini until June 24. MoMA features Louise Lawler's retrospective until July 30 and 'Making Spaces' until August 13. Additionally, the New Museum launches four exhibitions on May 3, and the Whitney Biennial lasts until June 11. The Brooklyn Museum's 'A Year of Yes' includes Georgia O'Keeffe until July 23.
