New Verona gallery Volto d'Arte to spotlight young artists

A new gallery, Volto d'Arte, opens December 17 in Verona, Italy, dedicated to showcasing emerging young artists, particularly students from the Liceo Artistico. Founded by the cultural association named after the late Venetian artist and teacher Marita Galazzini (born 1959 in Peschiera del Garda), the gallery aims to provide experimental space and visibility for contemporary art in relation to the city. Its inaugural exhibition, 'Tra e per i sogni di Marita,' honors Galazzini with a selection of her works, including the 'Tappeti volanti' series (2010–2013)—handwoven strips of recycled fleece—and the incomplete 'Nature' series (2013–2015).
