New Turin Gallery EDGE ART SPACE Opens with Eleonora Rinaldi Solo Show
A new gallery, EDGE ART SPACE, opens in Turin on February 9, 2024, at via della Consolata 17/c, opposite the sanctuary. Founded by Margherita Artoni and Riccardo Fattore, the space aims to promote emerging artists internationally with a focus on experimental curation and painting at its limits. The inaugural exhibition, "Spumes of Flowers," features works by Eleonora Rinaldi (born 1994), winner of the We Art Open 2023 residency. The show draws inspiration from Arthur Rimbaud's poem "Le Bateau Ivre," presenting an emotional, colorful journey between human and natural realms. Rinaldi's process involves layering and removing paint, creating mysterious narratives. The gallery will host exhibitions every two months and also features a second area for a growing collection shared with collectors, starting with Asian pop artists Mr. and Ziping Wang. Artoni and Fattore aim to bridge the gap between gallerist and collector roles.
