New Trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey Reveals Star-Studded Cast

Universal Studios has released a new full-length trailer for The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic. The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, and Robert Pattinson as Antinous. Additional cast includes Charlize Theron as Calypso, John Leguizamo as Eumaeus, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Benny Safdie as Agamemnon, Zendaya as Athena, Himesh Patel as Eurylochus, Mia Goth as Melantho, Jimmy Gonzales as Cepheus, Lupita Nyong'o, and Will Yun Lee. Shot entirely on IMAX cameras with a reported $250 million budget, the film is Nolan's first since the Oscar-winning Oppenheimer. The Odyssey is set for release on July 17, 2025, the same day as Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Nolan described the Homeric epics as the "Marvel of its day" and noted that modern comic-book culture draws directly from them.
