New Prize for Young Curators: Residency in Moscow

The Premio Mosca is accepting applications until July 12, providing two young Italian curators with a six-month residency at the VAC Foundation in Moscow, scheduled from October 15, 2018, to April 15, 2019. This initiative, organized by MiBACT and MAECI, requires candidates to be born after December 31, 1985, possess a degree in humanities, have relevant curatorial experience within the past three years, and be fluent in English. Each selected curator will receive €1,800 per month, a round-trip airfare from Italy, and health insurance. The final selection will be made by September 10. Olga Strada, director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow, remarked that the prize seeks to enhance cultural connections between Italy and Russia. Founded in 2009 by Leonid Mikhelson, the VAC Foundation emphasizes contemporary art and global dialogue.
