The 18th-century palace now houses collections spanning from prehistory to the Middle Ages, with a second section tracing the city's history from its foundation to the present. The project, funded with €530,000 from PO FESR 2014/2020, features interactive exhibits and a free mobile app. Regional assessor Alberto Samonà emphasized the museum's role in boosting tourism and extending visitor stays.
