Nuovi Centri d'Arte e Ampliamenti Museali a Guangzhou Evidenziano la Crescita Culturale Regionale
A Guangzhou e Foshan, in Cina, diverse importanti istituzioni artistiche hanno aperto o subito ampliamenti. Fondato nel 2020 da He Jianfeng e progettato da Tadao Ando, l'He Art Museum a Foshan si concentra sull'arte moderna e contemporanea. Le mostre attualmente in corso includono "A History Over and Over Again" di Mamma Andersson e "Flow of Shades" di Takesada Matsutani. Il Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center, inaugurato nell'aprile 2024, ospita la sede di Bai'etan del Guangdong Museum of Art, che vanta oltre 40.000 opere. Le mostre attuali includono "Botero a Guangzhou". Lo Vitamin Creative Space, fondato nel 2002, rimarrà chiuso fino al 24 settembre, mentre il Guangdong Times Museum ha riaperto nel marzo 2024 con mostre come "Floating World" e "Magic Atlas".
