New graphic novel biography explores Quentin Tarantino's life and films

publication · 2026-04-26

A new graphic novel biography on Quentin Tarantino, written by Michele Botton and illustrated by Bernardo Santiago Acosta, is now available in Italy through 24 Ore Cultura. Originally published in English by Frances Lincoln (Quarto Publishing), the book traces Tarantino's career non-chronologically, blending formative experiences with behind-the-scenes anecdotes. It features encounters with collaborators like Uma Thurman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, and Robert Rodriguez. Botton, also author of a Warhol graphic novel for Quarto, aimed to capture Tarantino's cinematic language and include lesser-known facts. The project was commissioned by Quarto Publishing and produced with WeAreBeSide, led by Balthazar Pagani.
