New gorani8 Space Opens in Milan with Rolf Jacobsen Solo Show
A new exhibition space called gorani8 has debuted in Milan at Via Gorani 8, adjacent to the archive of Nanda Vigo, in the 5Vie district known more for design than contemporary art. Founded by curators Daniela Pacchiana and Alberto Podio, the venue aims to showcase both emerging artists and historical masters. Its inaugural exhibition, "Chthonic," is a solo show by Danish sculptor Rolf Jacobsen, his first in Milan, featuring near-abstract sculptures with spiritual themes drawn from Genesis, Adam and Eve, Embla, Icarus, Phaeton, and columns. The opening took place on April 21, 2016, and runs until May 21, 2016.
