New FRAM Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art to Open in Rovato, Franciacorta
In March 2026, the FRAM (Franciacorta Rovato Arte Moderna e Contemporanea) museum is set to debut in Rovato, Brescia, Italy. This new venue, situated on the first floor of a building in the market district, houses a collection curated over five decades by Beppe Bonetti, a painter from Rovato, alongside his late wife, poet Angela Maria Zucchetti, who passed away in 2024. The collection prominently features 23 pieces by Gerolamo Calca (1878-1957) and around eighty works from various modern and contemporary artists, reflecting 20th-century art movements. Additionally, the museum will present Bonetti's art and temporary exhibitions organized by the Fondazione Bonetti Zucchetti, along with a bookstore, library, archive, and multimedia room, all part of a larger urban renewal initiative.
