cultural-heritage · 2026-04-27

In Trevi, Umbria, a newly established cultural center has emerged within the renovated Convent of San Francesco, integrating the library, archive, and various archaeological, artistic, and anthropological collections. This initiative enriches Trevi's cultural landscape, complementing the Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary. Mayor Bernardino Sperandio described it as 'a tool with great potential' for fostering cultural development. Visitors can explore an exhibition route that includes an archaeological section from Pietrarossa and an art gallery that highlights Trevi's artistic heritage from the 13th to the 20th century, featuring works by renowned artists. The facility also boasts a multimedia room and is recognized as a MAB (Museum, Archive, and Library), which includes several libraries and the Museum of Olive Civilization. The inauguration was attended by Undersecretary of Culture Vittorio Sgarbi.
