New costumes by YSL and Cesare Attolini join Cinecittà si Mostra exhibition

Since December 14, 2024, the permanent exhibition "Cinecittà si Mostra" at the Cinecittà Studios in Rome has added new costumes from Paolo Sorrentino's film "Parthenope," including pieces worn by Celeste Dalla Porta, Gary Oldman, and Luisa Ranieri. The costumes were designed by Carlo Poggioli and produced by Yves Saint Laurent under Anthony Vaccarello's creative direction, with jewelry by Pikkio inspired by the Tesoro di San Gennaro. Gary Oldman's linen suit was made by Neapolitan tailor Cesare Attolini. The exhibition also features costumes from other films: Heath Ledger's armor from "The Brothers Grimm" (2005) by Gabriella Pescucci and Carlo Poggioli; Michelle Pfeiffer's fairy costumes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (1999) by Pescucci; Monica Bellucci's outfit from "Le meraviglie" (2014) by Loredana Buscemi; Sophia Loren's costume from "C'era una volta" (1967) by Isabella Candeloro; and two costumes worn by Maria Callas in "Medea" (1969) by Piero Tosi. The exhibition is structured in two sections: one on myths and fairy tales, and a monographic focus on "Parthenope." Guided visits are scheduled for December 28–29, 2024, and January 4–5, 25–26, 2025.
