digital · 2026-05-04

Nexo Digital's 'La Grande Arte al Cinema' series concludes its season with a documentary on Caravaggio, directed by Francesco Fei. The film takes as its starting point the exhibition at Palazzo Reale in Milan, then journeys through Caravaggio's key locations: Rome, Naples, Malta, and Sicily. It features expert commentary from Rossella Vodret, curator of the Palazzo Reale show; Marco Carminati; Alessandro Morandotti; comic artist Milo Manara; Gennaro Carillo; Giovanna Cassese; Caterina Di Giacomo; Achille Mauri; and video art duo Masbedo. Masterpieces such as 'David and Goliath,' 'Deposition,' 'Martha and Mary Magdalene,' and 'Boy Bitten by a Lizard' are examined. The project is distributed in Italy exclusively by Nexo Digital, with media partners Radio Capital, Sky Arte, and MYmovies.it.
