New Books on Yan Pei-Ming, Nina Simone, Renaissance Heresy, and Woke Capitalism

A roundup of recent art and culture publications includes the catalogue for Yan Pei-Ming's largest Italian exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi, closing September 3. Carl Rhodes' "Capitalismo Woke" critiques corporate progressive posturing, with a preface by Carlo Galli warning that such capitalism replaces the state.
