New Artist-Run Space Amanda Opens in Genoa's Historic Caruggi

exhibition · 2026-04-26

In December 2024, Amanda Artist Run Space launched at Via della Maddalena 96 in Genoa, an artist-run initiative founded by Matteo Cremonesi, Alessandro Ferraro, Demetrio Giacomelli, Stefano Repetto, and Federica Capurro. The space focuses on emerging talent and experimental music. Exhibitions to date include Mario Silva's 'Line 1' (February 2025), Angelo Vignali's 'Il Corpo Latente' (April 2025), and Federica Zotti's 'Now I lay me down to sleep' (on view until July 25, 2025, with a performance at 7 PM). Silva, founder of Circolo Oblò in Milan, used elements from Milanese lake landscapes. Vignali explored memory and the paternal figure across media. Zotti's installation features ceramic figurines and candles, creating an intimate, liminal space. The space also hosts Pulce, a video experimental format curated by Demetrio Giacomelli.
