festival-fair · 2026-04-20

A new art fair named Art Berlin will debut from 14 to 17 September, organized jointly by Abc Berlin and Art Cologne. It will take place at the Station in Berlin-Kreuzberg, replacing the abc fair that has operated for nine years. Maike Cruse, director of Gallery Weekend Berlin, will lead the event with her team. The organizers are still exploring collaborative structures, with no details on impacts to Art Cologne. This follows MCH Group's stake in Art Düsseldorf, launching 16–19 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Swiss conglomerate owns Art Basel fairs among others.
