NESXT Festival Returns to Turin's Docks Dora with 9 Independent Art Spaces

The NESXT festival, organized by Associazione ArteSera, is taking place in Turin until November 4, 2018, with its main venue at Docks Dora. Nine independent collectives have been chosen to participate: Borderlight (Milan), Cantieri d'Arte (Viterbo), Farmacia Wurmkos (Sesto San Giovanni-Milan), FatStudio (San Lazzaro-Bologna), Lottozero (Prato), MUCHO MAS! (Turin), Novella Guerra (Imola), Porto dell'Arte (Bologna), and VILLAM (Rome). Directors Olga Gambari and Annalisa Russo have established two hubs: Novella Guerra for workshops and discussions, and Fat Studio for sound and performance. A cultural exchange day with Marseille Expos is scheduled for November 2. The festival also features exhibitions and performances in unique venues, aiming to transform Docks Dora into a creative district, with future editions possibly exploring locations like Murazzi.
