Negroni salami brand launches academy for young Italian talents
Negroni, known for its Italian cured meats, has launched the Accademia della Stella to support up-and-coming talents in fields that highlight Italian culture. This project coincides with the 90th anniversary of Negronetto salami, which Paolo Negroni crafted in 1931 at the Nice fair to navigate French laws on sliced meats. For its first edition, the academy is partnering with IED, NABA, and Politecnico di Milano’s design department. Students from these institutions will give a fresh take on the iconic brand, celebrated for its groundbreaking advertising that reflected societal shifts, including famous campaigns with a dancer inspired by Josephine Baker and cartoonist Jacovitti, as well as commercials featuring Ugo Tognazzi, a former Negroni employee from Cremona.
