Ndayé Kouagou's First Italian Solo Show at Collezione Maramotti
The Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia will host 'Heaven’s truth,' marking the first solo exhibition in Italy for French artist Ndayé Kouagou (b. 1992, residing in Paris) from May 3 to July 26, 2026. This event is part of the Festival Fotografia Europea 2026, themed 'Fantasmi del quotidiano.' The exhibition showcases recent pieces and a new project influenced by the photo novel, which includes a three-chapter video and three-dimensional components. Kouagou explores the narratives of four universal 'types' that embody earthly dynamics and dilemmas of Judgment. Previous works include the video installations 'Here & Elsewhere' (2024) and 'A coin is a coin' (2022). A publication featuring texts by Kouagou and others will accompany the exhibition. A second showing will commence on September 5, 2026, at Heidelberger Kunstverein.
