Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa's exhibition at CAPC Musée d'Art Contemporain de Bordeaux

From May 18 to September 29, 2017, Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa held a solo exhibition at the CAPC Musée d'Art Contemporain in Bordeaux, France. This event, highlighted in the September 2017 edition of artpress magazine (issue 447, page 23), was a notable milestone in the artist's career. The CAPC, which has been showcasing contemporary art since the 1970s in a repurposed warehouse, often presents 3-4 major exhibitions each year, enriching the contemporary art scene in the region. Ramírez-Figueroa's artistic practice delves into themes of memory, history, and cultural identity, frequently reflecting Guatemalan folklore and history.
