Natura in posa: still life masterpieces from Vienna dialogue with contemporary photography in Treviso
The Museo Santa Caterina in Treviso is hosting the exhibition 'Natura in posa,' featuring a dialogue between 50 still life masterpieces from the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and contemporary photography. Running through May 31, 2020, the exhibition presents works from the late 16th to 17th centuries, including pieces by Jan Brueghel the Elder and Pieter Claesz. Additionally, visitors will see photographs by David LaChapelle. The exhibition also incorporates loans from notable Venetian cultural institutions, playing a part in enhancing the artistic offerings of Treviso, and is curated by Francesca Del Torre and others.
