National Gallery Singapore's 'Tropical' Exhibition Examines Anti-Colonial Solidarity in Southeast Asia and Latin America

'Tropical: Stories from Southeast Asia and Latin America' is currently on display at the National Gallery Singapore, showcasing more than 200 artworks that delve into the theme of resistance against European colonialism. The exhibition is divided into three segments: 'The Myth of the Lazy Native,' 'This Earth of Mankind,' and 'The Subversive,' featuring a section titled 'Library of The Tropics.'
