The National Gallery in London has unveiled its exhibition lineup for the 2020/2021 season, highlighting prominent figures from the early modern era. Notable exhibitions include "Titian: Love, Desire, Death," scheduled from March 16 to June 14, 2020, which brings together five mythological works commissioned by Prince Philip of Spain in 1551, such as "Diana and Actaeon." Another significant show, "Artemisia," will run from April 4 to July 26, 2020, marking the first major retrospective in the UK of Artemisia Gentileschi, featuring around 35 pieces that chart her artistic journey from Rome to Naples. Additionally, "Dürer's Journeys: Travels of a Renaissance Artist," opening February 13 and concluding May 16, 2021, will be the largest exhibition on Albrecht Dürer in the UK in two decades, examining how his travels shaped his artwork, including the "Madonna and Child" (c. 1496/1499) from the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
