Nástio Mosquito's Multifaceted Exhibition at Fondazione Prada
Fondazione Prada in Milan is showcasing an exhibition titled T.T.T. – Template Temples of Tenacity, spotlighting Angolan artist Nástio Mosquito, born in 1981. The exhibit features a 2016 installation, WEorNOT (Nastivicious Temple #01), an engaging performance, and an upcoming film that explores themes of love. The installation, designed with Vic Pereiró and Ada Díez, includes stained-glass elements that incorporate contemporary motifs alongside classic literature. Mosquito’s performance merges the sounds of two choirs, echoing a well-known hymn. The film, set to premiere in September, fuses the artist's music with African film clips. Curated by Elvira Dyangani Ose, the show runs until September 25, 2016.
