Narcisa Monni's Pandemic Paintings at Ulassai's Museo Stazione dell'Arte

From August 13 to October 11, 2020, the Museo Stazione dell'Arte in Ulassai, Sardinia, hosted Narcisa Monni's exhibition 'Insieme a te non ci sto più'. The show featured 40 works created during the COVID-19 lockdown, reflecting on social isolation and its impact on creativity. The title borrows from Caterina Caselli's 1968 hit song. Museum director Davide Mariani curated the exhibition, noting it was unplanned and born from the pandemic's urgency. Monni, born in Alghero in 1981, initially shared the works on social media before they were presented physically. The museum, dedicated to Maria Lai, aimed to capture significant contemporary expressions.
