NAQI & Partners' TiTi's House: Stacked Volumes on a Narrow Ho Chi Minh City Plot

NAQI & Partners has finalized the construction of TiTi's House in Ho Chi Minh City's bustling District 10. This four-story dwelling, designed for a young couple and their three children, occupies a compact 50-square-meter plot. Led by Nguyễn Minh Nhựt, the design ingeniously transforms the limited space into a serene living environment that harmonizes privacy with social interaction. The exterior features understated white walls and a simple metal gate, complemented by slanted rooftops that cast angular shadows and a small garden that enhances the entrance. Inside, a central atrium invites natural light and promotes ventilation through the stack effect. The flexible open-plan design employs sliding panels and built-in storage to create distinct areas. A subtle color scheme of white walls, light grey ceilings, and warm timber flooring enhances the spacious feel. Custom cabinetry, inspired by childhood house drawings, includes pitched tops, integrated beds, and storage solutions.
