Napoli celebrates 2500 years with over 2500 events in 2025

In 2025, Naples will commemorate its 2500th anniversary with more than 2500 events focused on culture and tourism, as revealed by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and tourism councilor Teresa Armato at Teatro San Carlo. The initiative, led by artistic director Laura Valente and supported by over 80 organizations, will commence on March 25, 2025, with "Napoli Milionaria." Notable activities include a dance lesson on April 29, a docufilm by Cristina Comencini, and the Napoli Fringe Fest, scheduled from April 17 to May 4. Special exhibitions will be featured at museums such as Palazzo Reale and MANN. The Teatro San Carlo's lineup includes "Assunta Spina" and Ennio Morricone's "Partenope," with festivities wrapping up with "Buon compleanno Neapolis" from December 21 to January 6.
