Naples launches Contemporaneamente gallery weekend with 30+ spaces
From December 17 to 19, 2020, over 30 galleries in Naples and the Campania region will join forces for a new art weekend called Contemporaneamente – Appuntamento con l'arte contemporanea Napoli_Campania. The galleries will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm, offering free events while following COVID-19 health guidelines. This initiative, spearheaded by Andrea Ingenito of Andrea Ingenito Contemporary Art, aims to become an annual tradition that includes outdoor activities and welcomes all galleries, regardless of size or history, especially those lacking government assistance. Partnering organizations include Fondazione Morra and Museo Madre, inspired by similar successful events in Berlin, Milan, and Turin, featuring renowned galleries like Alfonso Artiaco and Lia Rumma.
