Nan Goldin's Immersive Film Exhibition 'This Will Not End Well' Opens at Pirelli HangarBicocca

Nan Goldin's exhibition titled 'This Will Not End Well' is currently on display at Pirelli HangarBicocca in Milan, marking her first significant European showcase as a filmmaker, and will be open until 15 February. Curated by Roberta Tenconi and Lucia Aspesi, the exhibition includes installations designed by architect Hala Wardé. Notable pieces encompass 'The Ballad of Sexual Dependency' (1981–2022) and 'Sisters, Saints, Sibyls' (2004–2022). Two new slideshows, 'You Never Did Anything Wrong' (2024) and 'Stendhal Syndrome' (2024), are making their debut. Sound plays a crucial role, featuring 'Bleeding' (2025) by Soundwalk Collective. Additional works include 'The Other Side' (1992–2021), 'Fire Leap' (2010–2022), 'Memory Lost' (2019–2021), and 'Sirens' (2019–2020). Goldin, born in 1953, established P.A.I.N. in 2017.
