Naessi Studio: Rome-Based Design Duo Expands to New York Gallery

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

Naessi Studio, founded in 2020 by Eleonora Carbone and Alessandro d'Angeli, is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Rome's San Giovanni district. The duo, who met at Devoto Design, left their jobs to create a fluid studio that spans product design, art direction, and special projects. Their work includes planners, glass alembics, bags, pop-up shops, and seating. They recently collaborated with Claudia Pignatale's Secondome Gallery and Studio F on the NEXUM table, exhibited at Rossana Orlandi's gallery during Milan Design Week and now at the Summer Gallery in Porto Cervo. For Espressoh, they created the "Espressoh to go" concept box at Milan's Centrale Station. Their UNDATED seating collection, first shown at Lake Como Design Festival, will be exhibited at Studiotwentyseven's new New York location opening by end of June. The cedar wood seats use the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique. Naessi also hosts breakfasts with creatives in collaboration with Marigold. They aim to curate a non-design exhibition in the future.
