festival-fair · 2026-04-27

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) launched FAIR, an online art fair running from May 20 to June 21, 2020, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair involves 119 NADA members plus 80 additional galleries affected by the economic crisis. FAIR uses a cooperative financial model: 50% of each sale goes to the exhibiting gallery (split equally between gallery and artist), 20% is shared equally among all participating galleries, 20% among all participating artists, and 10% supports NADA. Galleries present works for four weeks, with new works added weekly. The fair also includes online performances, studio visits, and talks. NADA partnered with Artlogic to develop the digital platform. Executive director Heather Hubbs stated the initiative supports the global gallery and artist community during closures.
