Nabil Kanso's 'Echoes of War' Exhibition at MSU Broad Art Museum Explores Middle East Conflicts Through Paintings

The MSU Broad Art Museum in Michigan, USA, is showcasing 'Echoes of War,' a solo exhibition by Lebanese-American artist Nabil Kanso (1940–2019), which delves into conflicts in the Middle East. This exhibition features a variety of works, including large oil paintings, pen-and-ink drawings, and sketchbooks, highlighting events such as Lebanon's civil war, the Syrian refugee crisis after 2011, the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, and the 2003 Iraq War. His children, Daniel and Lilly, have worked to promote their father's art since his passing, with many pieces being publicly displayed for the first time.
