NABA Students Present 'Il corso delle cose' on the Adda River
In Milan, the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) showcases 'Il corso delle cose. Narrazioni e mappature dell’Adda', the result of a masterclass conducted between October 2017 and February 2018. Under the guidance of Marco Scotini, the head of NABA's Visual Arts Department, and instructor Caterina Iaquinta, second-year students from the Biennio Specialistico in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies engaged in archival research and field studies along the Adda River, examining the relationship between human actions and the river's erosive characteristics. Approximately forty artists, including Chiara Cavina, Oliviero Fiorenzi, and Veronica Franzoni, are represented in the exhibition. The curatorial team comprises Mariateresa Lattarulo, Carolina Mancini, Flavia Scirè, Adriana Tomatis Souverbielle, and Ezgi Yurteri, while Daniele Perra curated cover designs for Artribune. The project emphasizes an ecological view of the landscape, showcasing the connections among people, nature, and the river.
