NABA fashion film showcases emerging designers at Altaroma

NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti presented The Best of NABA – Fashion View, a fashion film featuring collections from its fashion design students, during the winter edition of Altaroma in Rome. The virtual show, curated and directed by professor Paolo Bazzani, was hosted on Altaroma's digital runway platform, bridging Milan and Rome despite the ongoing pandemic. The film uses 3D technology to explore metaphysical spaces, with an original soundtrack by sound designer and institute director Guido Tattoni, who composed visually by engaging with sketches, moodboards, and photographs in synergy with the art direction. The soundtrack incorporates glitches and dissonances reflecting the contrasts in fashion. The film showcases collections by students Lucia Grande, Sofia Interligi, Pierfrancesco Pierucci, Mar'yana P'yetsukh, Cristiano Ragazzoni, Melissa Riva, Serena Romei, Alessia Santoro, Niki Signoretti, Luisa Nunziata, Matteo Salamone, and Franca Tomaino, supervised by Colomba Leddi. Silvia Simoncelli, head of education NABA in Rome, praised the collaboration with Altaroma as a vital platform for emerging Italian fashion designers. The film credits include virtual environments by EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani, video and editing by Raphael Monzini, and casting by Antonio Moscogiuri.
