NABA Blackout Book final edition features 14 emerging artists

Marco Scotini, NABA Visual Arts Department Head since 2004, curated the fourth and final installment of the Blackout Book exhibition series, showcasing 14 emerging artists from NABA's Milan campus. The show includes works by Lucrezia Costa (born 1996, Rome), Andrea Noviello (born 1996, Rome), Giacomo Segantin (born 1995, Abano Terme), Cansu Inaler (born 1996, Istanbul), Giorgio Mattia (born 1997, Frosinone), Alessandro Cavallini (born 2000, Milan), Marta Gradenigo (born 1998, Venice), Olivier Russo (born 1994, Bergamo), Daniela Jakrlova' Riva (born 1997, Turin), Emma Moriconi (born 1997, Milan), Paolo Gamba (born 1992, Bergamo), Sebastian Rodriguez Mendieta (born 1994, Bogotá), and Emanuele Cantò (born 1997, Pescara). The exhibition features diverse media including video, performance, sculpture, painting, and installation, with themes ranging from nature and memory to anthropocentrism and language. Scotini also serves as Artistic Director of FM Centro per l'arte contemporanea in Milan, Exhibition Program Manager at PAV Parco Arte Vivente in Turin, Scientific Director of Archivio Gianni Colombo and Archivio Bert Theis, and has been an Italian Council member since 2019.
