Mystical Solace: A Playful Temple Installation at Fuori Salone 2017

architecture-design · 2026-05-05

In Milan during the 2017 Fuori Salone, designers Laetitia De Allegri and Matteo Fogale collaborated with curator Valentina Ciuffi and Studio Vedèt to unveil ‘Mystical Solace.’ This installation, located within the Dome Milano Interior of the renowned Vico Magistretti building on via San Marco 1, takes the form of a small temple and critiques contemporary society's fixation on superficial spirituality. Constructed from yellow Siena stone and dark Noire Doré marble, it allows attendees to experience a moment of reflection while navigating the bustling environment of the design fair, continuing the themes explored in Ciuffi's earlier works.
