Mysteryland Festival Adds VR Livestream and Immersive Art Installations
Mysteryland, a dance festival near Amsterdam since 1993, now offers a virtual reality livestream for remote attendees. The 2016 edition on August 27-28 features electronic music from Carl Craig & Stacey Pullen, Green Velvet, Apollonia, and Boys Noize, plus immersive art installations by duo ATM and collective WERC. A new VR experience called The Living Room sits atop the iconic pyramid, allowing visitors to relax while watching performances. The livestream is accessible via dedicated app or YouTube channel with VR headsets. Short 360-degree video clips will also be posted on social media.
