Mutina for Art: New Exhibition Space MUT Opens in Fiorano
Mutina, a ceramics brand from Fiorano, Modena, has introduced Mutina for Art, a multifaceted initiative featuring a new exhibition venue named MUT. Established in the 1970s by architect Angelo Mangiarotti, MUT is situated at Mutina's headquarters and is overseen by Sarah Cosulich, who previously directed Artissima (2012–2016) and served as a development advisor for Manifesta12. The opening exhibition, 'Think of this as a Window,' showcases pieces from CEO Massimo Orsini's collection, including works by notable artists like Etel Adnan and Cindy Sherman. Additionally, Mutina presents 'This is not a Prize,' an annual recognition for emerging artists, with the 2017 recipient to be unveiled on October 18 at the Grand Palais during FIAC.
